This lovely box is made from recycled brown card, decorated on the lid, sides, base and underside of lid with hand-letterpress, which makes it an ideal gift. The design draws from packaging layouts from the 1960’s and 70’s and uses the British alphabet, a typeface which was designed by Jock Kinneir and Margaret Calvert in 1965 for British Rail.

Using a 150-year old letterpress, and returned to use. Card is cut on our similarly veteran guillotine. Linseed oil based ink is used and printed onto recycled card, usually specifically milled for letterpress work. All boxes are handmade with copper staples and letterpress printed. Individual cards are wrapped in a plastic free, bio-degradable cellophane.
