This cylindrical little basket is crocheted by raffia. Nice as a small pot, but also as storage for your haberdashery, your beautiful stones, pens etc. Raffia palms grow in tropical regions in Africa. The fibre is produced from the membrane on the underside of each individual frond leaf.
